Ms. Emanikor is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and the County Solicitor of the Turkana County Government. She graduated from Moi University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree and was admitted to the Roll of Advocates in the year 2005. She currently also serves as the Director, Partnerships & Resource Mobilization of Article 43 Community Based Organization.

She is part of the Turkana Indigenous community of Kenya and her expertise lies with the empowerment of Women and the Girl Child of Indigenous Pastoralist communities in Kenya though biased towards the Turkana community.
