Lelente joined IMPACT in 2021 as a Driver, entrusted with the safe transit of staff members and visiting partners and donors. He acquired his driving licence from the Automobile Association of Kenya (AA) in 2004 and has since garnered 20 years of experience .

Prior to joining IMPACT ,Lelente worked for Galana Cattle for 6 years after which he joined the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy as a Ranger Monitoring person for 4years. He was later promoted to a Security Driver in the same organization ,a position he held for 13 years .

Having been born, raised and worked in the landscape for many years,he is well conversant with the terrain, communities and indigenous cultures and values that drive our mission as a grassroots organization.
