Luigia Lesuuda was born and raised in Laikipia. She is among the key founders of OSILIGI (Organisation for Survival of II-Laikipiak Indigenous Group). When OSILIGI later became IMPACT, she became one of the expert members who contributed to its formation. Currently, Luigia Lesuuda works on the front-line, empowering pastoral women through trainings on alternative livelihoods, issues surrounding gender-based violence and women’s rights. As a business woman, she also runs her own Agrovet shop.
