Mr. Paul Duba Ogom serves as a Community Paralegal within Land, Environment and Climate Justice. He works with community members to secure their land rights, empowering them to claim and protect their ancestral lands. His expertise lies in navigating complex legal frameworks to support community-led land justice.
He’s driven by the stories of communities losing their lands due to lack of documentation or awareness. Seeing communities gain confidence and control over their land is what gets him excited to start work each day.
He believes that land rights are a foundation for community development and self-determination. His approach is centered on amplifying community voices and building local capacity for sustainable change.
Outside work, He enjoys looking after camels in the Kenyan wilderness and practicing traditional dances. Weekends are for his family time.
