Partnership, Advocacy, and Resilience

Fostering Peaceful Coexistence Across Shared Landscapes
We strengthen local and global relations to promote Indigenous learning, representation, and peaceful coexistence within shared environments.

“Peace starts in your home and your heart. With IMPACT's guidance, Samburu East is making strides in nurturing a culture of peace among our youth. ”

The Challenge

Navigating Interests Across Shared Landscapes

The aspirations and rights of Indigenous communities often intersect with the interests of various stakeholders across shared landscapes, creating complex challenges.

Our Solution

We foster collaborative partnerships by engaging diverse stakeholders through dialogue and joint action, cultivating global Indigenous networks, ensuring Indigenous representation in decision making, and promoting frameworks for peaceful coexistence.

Our approach revolves around four main areas:

Facilitating Inclusive Multistakeholder Collaboration
Cultivating Global Indigenous Networks and Youth/Women Engagement
Amplifying Indigenous Voices in Decision Making
Furthering Dialogue, Cooperation, and Peace-Building Efforts among communities in Northern Kenya

“As a government leader, I appreciate IMPACT because they help bridge the gap between pastoralist communities and the government, acting as a trusted intermediary to address challenges and promote peace.”

“IMPACT has played a crucial role in developing climate change and disaster management policies while enhancing community capacities in Samburu and Laikipia. They have focused on critical issues such as land rights, natural resource management, and human rights advocacy.”

Together, we make an impact.

Stand in solidarity with Indigenous peoples for land rights, sustainable livelihoods, and cultural preservation.
