IMPACT Kenya has been recognized by the Deputy County Commissioner, Laikipia North Sub-County for its support during the Madaraka Day celebrations held on 1 June 2026 at Kiwanja Ndege Primary School Grounds in Makurian Location.

The appreciation followed a contribution made by the organization toward the successful hosting of the national celebration through the provision of tents and chairs valued at KSh 21,000. 

In the letter, the Sub-County administration acknowledged IMPACT Kenya’s ongoing partnership with government institutions and communities across Laikipia North, noting that the support played an important role in ensuring the success of the event. 

The recognition reflects the value of collaboration between civil society organizations, government institutions, and local communities in promoting unity, participation, and development.
